Jan Blachowicz is already gearing up for his return following some disappointing news in April.
Before UFC 328, Blachowicz announced his withdrawal from the card due to suffering a torn meniscus right before he headed to the United States to complete his preparations.
Despite there being offers for someone to step in and face Bogdan Guskov to keep him on the card, a replacement matchup wasnβt made for Newark.
It has now been confirmed that their light heavyweight rematch will be taking place in the coming months after it fell apart the first time around.

Jan Blachowicz vs Bogdan Guskov rebooked for UFC Belgrade on August 1
In the main card opener of UFC 323 last December, Jan Blachowicz and Bogdan Guskov fought to a majority draw due to two judges scoring the bout 28-28.
Chris Lee had the fight scored in favor of Blachowicz (29-2), but Junichiro Kamijo and Ron McCarthy awarded Guskov a 10-8 in the second.
The UFC has now confirmed that their rematch is back on and will take place at UFC Belgrade on August 1.

Blachowicz said when announcing his injury in May that he was already working on coming back as soon as possible so that he can finish his career on his own terms.
He didnβt disclose how severe his meniscus tear was, which would impact the estimated recovery timeframe.
While a small tear could take as little as four weeks to come back from, some injuries will require surgery, which significantly extends the timeframe for a comeback.
Blachowicz still has well over a month to prepare for his return, which suggests that his injury wasnβt too significant.
